About Me

Camila Sarria Sanz.jpeg

I am a media researcher and communication designer who turns raw field-work data into clear, compelling stories. Trained in Media Studies (Cum Laude, Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Design (Universidad de Los Andes), I specialize in qualitative methods—interviews, thematic coding, participatory video—and (bilingual) data normalization.

Over the past seven years, I have co-authored peer-reviewed studies on migration and digital media, built multilingual resource libraries, and designed ethics-driven research toolkits. I have worked with partners such as Erasmus University, Universidad de los Andes, USAID, the British Council, and ALIVE Ventures. My portfolio ranges from digital handbooks and interactive dashboards to websites, infographics, and podcast series.

By combining rigorous research practice with visual communication, I help scholars, NGOs, and civic-tech teams make their findings not only visible but actionable, so evidence can inform policy, empower communities, and inspire new ideas.
